Marjot recipients recognized at Massachusetts State Science Fair

The 2018 Marjot recipients were all extremely successful at the 2019 State Science Fair hosted by MIT. David Dayan and Christian Healey placed third in the poster competition with their project studying videos of a white shark nursery site off the Long Island coast.  Emma Keeler (marine fungi) and Francesca DiMare (bee foraging) placed first and second places at the overall Massachusetts State Science Fair. Emma won numerous other awards/scholarships and Francesca’s oral presentation placed first in the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium for the New England Southern Region.  Francesca will represent the region at the national competition in New Mexico for the finals.  These young scholars are exceptional.
